Pharmacy Technician
$30 - $35 per hourRx Unlimited
Rx Unlimited is hiring for a Pharmacy Technician position, located in Beverly Hills with convenient hours of M-F 9am-6pm, no weekends! Handling inbound and outbound phone communications with patients. Assist the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications. Maintaining patient and pharmacy records in a manner consistent with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures. Reaching out to patients to obtain information required to process prescription refills and new prescription verifications. Responding to customer requests, data entry, record maintenance, and other clerical duties Research and follows up on unpaid insurance claims and billing problems. Knowledge of medical billing/collections practices and basic medical coding. Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations: Day Supply Current California Board of Pharmacy Technician licensure in good standing. Knowledge of generic and trade drug names and pharmacy terminology. Knowledge of HIPAA requirements. Minimum 2-year experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Familiarity with Pioneer RX systems.
