APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in Sterling Heights, MI looking to add a Quality Engineer their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be ensuring products meet customer requirements, driving continuous improvement, and supporting production with effective quality solutions. What your day will look like:

· Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, procedures, and inspection methods

· Analyze production processes to identify defects, root causes, and improvement opportunities

· Support production and quality teams in resolving non-conformance issues

· Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product quality

· Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements

· Conduct audits of processes, products, and suppliers to ensure compliance

· Utilize quality tools such as root cause analysis, 8D, FMEA, and control plans

· Work closely with engineering, production, and suppliers to improve product performance

· Collect, analyze, and report quality data to management

What we are looking for:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred

· 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality role

· Strong understanding of quality systems and manufacturing processes

· Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving tools

· Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

· Knowledge of ISO/TS/IATF quality standards preferred
