About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 Years L&D Experience Required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district Required Certifications: BLS & ACLS Required, NRP Required, AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring Required Must-Have: LRDP Experience, Labor with Postpartum Experience Preferred Description: Must live 50 miles away. Three 12-hour day shifts per week. On-call requirement: One shift per week. Patient population includes females of childbearing years, pregnant individuals at 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, scheduled procedures, and triage issues. The activity on the unit includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries (both vaginal and cesarean). Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes fetal monitors and electronic documentation systems.
