Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the shipyard, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Key duties will include cleaning tanks, confined spaces, bilges, pressure-washing components, and responding to landside spills. The position requires a strong commitment to safety and hygiene standards, the ability to work in various weather conditions, extensive walking, maneuvering steps, ladders, and climbing as necessary. A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety in the shipyard is essential, along with flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities. Must Have Perform kneeling, squatting, crawling, bending, stooping, and climbing on a daily basis. Lift at least 40 pounds. Perform overhead work. Be clean‑shaven to wear a respirator. Work outdoors, year‑round, in all weather conditions. Work at extreme heights. Work in small, tight, confined spaces. Work any shift to accommodate production needs. Take measurements or be willing to learn. Nice to Have High school graduate or equivalent.
