Role Summary

Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests. Uphold and improve upon all service standards of URBN Food & Beverage

Role Responsibilities

1. Welcome and greet guests
2. Inform guests of specials and menu changes
3. Make recommendations and suggest appropriate beverage pairings
4. Answer questions regarding the menu including regions where foods come from, how dishes are prepared to describe in detail tastes and textures
5. Answer questions regarding beverage lists, where wines and beers are produced and their aromas & flavors
6. Answer questions about our restaurant functions and services and that of all the restaurants in our company
7. Take food and beverage orders from guests and accurately enter them into POS system
8. Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
9. Maintain clean service areas
10. Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
11. Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable)
12. Be ready and willing to assist fellow service staff members
13. Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
14. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager

Role Qualifications

• Previous experience in a comparable restaurant preferred
• Strong work ethic and excellent multi-tasking skills
• Personable and professional demeanor
• Passion for great food and service
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Ability to reach, bend and stoop

Pay Range

Starting from USD $4.00/Hr.
