General Production Worker

Production WorkerMonitors, cleans, and maintains the operation of all the various electronic eyes and sizing system equipment used to separate damaged product and foreign material from good product and maintain APSA grades. Monitors, cleans, and maintains various pieces of equipment used to size, convey and clean shelled peanuts located in shelling and blanching plants and maintains the sanitation of the entire facility as needed.Pay: $14-$15/hrShift: 7am to 3:30pm MUST be comfortable working 14 days straight during peak shelling seasonResponsibilitiesMonitor, clean, and maintain the operation of electronic eyes and sizing system equipment.Separate damaged products and foreign materials from good products.Maintain APSA grades.Monitor, clean, and maintain equipment used to size, convey, and clean shelled peanuts in shelling and blanching plants.Disassemble and reassemble various items inside the electronic eyes, such as ejectors, lamps, and control boards.Complete daily assigned tasks including communication with colleagues regarding equipment operation, changes in flow rates, processing capabilities, readings, safety, maintenance issues, paperwork, sanitation, maintenance, safety assignments, and food safety requirements.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochelle, GA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $22.40/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
