About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 or 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Strong Medical/Surgical and Telemetry Skills Required. Previous Charge Experience Preferred. Charting System Experience Required. EMR Experience: 1 year with EPIC required. Description: The selected candidate will provide nursing care to a diverse patient population. Candidates should have strong Med/Tele experience. Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is required. The unit has an emphasis on a nephrology population. Patient ages range from 18-87, with diverse diagnoses including newly diagnosed diabetes and end-stage renal disease. The nursing staff will be expected to float within qualified units as needed. There will be interdisciplinary support available, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more. The daily patient census is approximately 25 patients. Weekend coverage will be required as needed. Pre-assignment testing and modules will be completed within a specified timeframe upon contract acceptance. Candidates must have strong communication and collaboration skills. The working environment requires adaptability and willingness to assist across various departments.
