What You ll Do

• Render emergency medical care to a diverse patient population in a high-volume ED/UR setting
• Collaborate with APCs, hospitalists, and specialists to provide seamless patient care
• Utilize telemedicine services, including Telestroke and Tele ICU, to support clinical decision-making
• Handle approximately 40-60 patient encounters in a 24-hour period
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulations

What You Need

• Valid Wisconsin Medical License or eligibility
• Prior emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

About the Assignment
This emergency department serves as a regional care hub with advanced support services, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, and a collaborative Hospitalist team. The facility features Telestroke and Tele ICU services, onsite UW helicopter, and is situated within a scenic area rich in tourist attractions.
