Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a teaching hospital setting, requiring ARRT or ARMRIT MR advanced licensure and at least 1 year of experience.

Job Details

• Imaging department position within a teaching hospital,
• 8-hour rotating shift schedule mixed with 12-hour shifts, working evenings,
• Shift hours from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 40 hours per week,
• 1-2 weekends per month with schedule flexibility required,
• No on-call requirements,
• Schedule spans Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling,

Job Requirements

• Current BLS certification required,
• ARRT or ARMRIT MR advanced licensure required,
• License required if applicable,
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required,
• Teaching hospital experience required,
• Epic experience within the past 2 years required,
• Philips MRI equipment experience highly preferred, though strong candidates without this experience may be considered,

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience preferred, though first-time travelers may be considered,
• Must work 2 of the following 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day,
• Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays,
• Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area,
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April,
• Accepts local candidates within a 50-mile radius,
• Radius rate applies for candidates living 51-100 miles from the facility
