Job Responsibilities Create Customized Treatment Protocols: Assess individual patient needs and devise tailored therapy strategies aimed at helping them reach their functional ambitions. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to advance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and everyday activities. Collaborate with Diverse Healthcare Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care. Guide Patients and Their Families: Instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic practices that will support consistent progress outside of the clinical environment. Track and Assess Patient Progress: Monitor treatment advancements and modify plans as needed to maintain alignment with patient goals. Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university. Ongoing professional development and additional certifications encouraged and supported. Licenses Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
