Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join the outpatient team.This position provides coverage at our Hanover outpatient center for neurological and orthopedic conditions.The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides quality, comprehensive, patient-centered occupational therapy services including administration of a treatment plan under the direction and supervision of the occupational therapist, documentation and communication with team members, and supervision to non-licensed personnel. Instructs therapy support staff, students, other team members, and patient and/or caregivers. Compensation $26.63 - $35.25 per hour This range reflects our commitment to pay equity and market‑competitive compensation. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity. Qualifications and Skills Experience in an outpatient rehab setting preferred. Education/Certifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (associate’s degree) required. Virginia licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Occupational Therapy Board of the Virginia State Board of Health Professions required. Healthcare professionals CPR certification required.
