Duties

The duties include:

• Managing receipt, intake, and indexing of health and administrative information to ensure continuity of veteran care.
• Maintaining and coordinating appointment schedules for three or more Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM-HT) panels.
• Scheduling, enrolling, disenrolling, and assisting veterans with Remote Patient Monitoring-Home Telehealth programs.
• Troubleshooting telehealth equipment, coordinating delivery and return, and managing related logistics with vendors and DALC.
• Screening and responding to phone calls, emails, and faxes, providing information in accordance with privacy rules and clinic processes.
• Coordinating administrative services for veterans, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support ongoing outpatient care.
• Preparing administrative reports, quality assurance monitors, and RPM-HT data validation reports for Connected Care leadership.
• Supporting special projects, onboarding, and development of SOPs, competencies, and training materials for telehealth programs.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of communication, actions, and follow-up in the electronic health record.
• Participating in team huddles, meetings, and care-planning activities to support coordinated veteran care.
• Identifying incomplete encounters, monitoring pre-appointment requirements, and ensuring readiness for care.
• Managing and validating veteran information systems, resolving discrepancies to support clinic flow and access.
• Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring courteous, respectful, and veteran-centric interactions at all times.
• Maintaining compliance with mandatory education, safety protocols, equipment handling, and infection control procedures.
• Protecting sensitive veteran information in accordance with the Privacy Act and VA/VHA security policies.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Pay

Competitive salary and regular salary increases. When setting pay, a higher step rate of the appropriate grade may be determined after consideration of higher or unique qualifications or special needs of the VA (Above Minimum Rate of the Grade).

Paid Time Off

37-50 days of annual paid time offer per year (13-26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid federal holidays per year). Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior work experience or military service experience.

Parental Leave

After 12 months of employment, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave in connection with the birth, adoption, or foster care placement of a child.

Child Care Subsidy

After 60 days of employment, full-time employees with a total family income below $144,000 may be eligible for a childcare subsidy up to 25% of total eligible childcare costs for eligible children up to the monthly maximum of $416.66.

Retirement

Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA.

Insurance

Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement).
