The nurse will work a 12-hour shift from 07:00 to 19:00. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting. The nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patients. Patient ratios are typically 6:1 up to 7:1. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring telemetry patients. Floating to other units may be required as a second nurse. Common diagnoses and treatments include surgical care and psychiatric evaluations. A family-oriented personality fit is preferred. Applicants should hold an Associate's degree in nursing. Scrubs are the required attire for this position. The facility is accredited and offers various medical services. Scheduling needs must be flexible to accommodate the unit requirements.
