Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Ironworkers/Riggers for projects located in or around Knoxville, TN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Perform rigging & setting of industrial equipment, machinery tanks, conveyors & mechanical systems
Read & interpret rigging plans, blueprints, equipment drawings & lift plans
Safely attach balance & guide loads using chains, slings, shackles, spreader bars & other hardware
Assist with equipment alignment, anchoring, leveling & final placement
Work closely with millwrights, pipefitters, welders & other craft workers
Requirements
3+ years experience of irownworking/rigging
Experience rigging & setting equipment in manufacturing plants, factories of industrial facilities
Ability to read & blueprints and follow detailed installation instructions
Familiarity with cranes forklifts, aerial lifts & industrial lifting practices
Ability to work overtime & occasionally weekends as needed
Reliable transportation
Basic hand tools
NCCER Signal person preferred
NCCER Rigger level I or II preferred
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
Aerial Lift certification preferred
