The Christman Company is looking for a Scheduling Manager.The Scheduling Manager will work with the project management team in developing, monitoring, and updating an integrated project plan and schedule so that projects are executed in the most efficient manner possible. This person will support and lead training programs, develop, implement, and maintain processes. The Scheduling Manager will also support Business Development and Marketing activities as they relate to proposed project scheduling.What You Will Do:As Scheduling Manager, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:Preparing procedures and guidelines for project planning and related scheduling management and control.Assisting with the development and implementation of acceptable planning and scheduling techniques and methods.Providing technical training and guidance to project personnel on planning and scheduling subjects.Supporting the project team efforts toward the development of the project plan and translating that project plan into the project schedule.Leading development and analysis of project schedules, CPM software implementation, time impact and delay analysis, and review of periodic schedule updates.Assisting with the preparation of project time and cost claims.At the completion of the project, assists in developing and recording the project's historical schedule information and "lessons learned", for use on future enterprise projects.Demonstrating strong leadership/team-building skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.Maintaining a high level of technical expertise through continuing education programs and participation in schedule related professional activities.Advancing their professionalism by participating in and advancing professional organizations dedicated to professional planning and scheduling.Ability to always maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor and perform well under project constraints and deadlines.Strong computer skills with P6, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project). Willingness to test and implement new technologies as they become available.Expected Hours of Work: Full time position, with occasional extended hours and weekends.Pay: $98,000 - $130,000 per yearWhat You Will Bring to the Team:Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related fieldFive (5) years of experience in the construction industry requiredEight (8) or more years of experience in the construction industry preferredHave the passion and commitment to building strong partnerships to support project goals.Additional Eligibility QualificationsHave the ability to interact with and develop effective working relationships with a wide range of people, including internal and external customers, in different situations.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
