Credit Analyst

The Mid-Level Credit Analyst plays a vital role in assessing the financial stability of customers to facilitate informed lending decisions. This position requires a keen eye for detail, quick analytical skills, and effective communication to support the company's credit processes and ensure risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive analysis of customer financial data, including personal and business credit reports, TLO reports, and professional license reports. Evaluate creditworthiness by gathering information from credit bureaus, employers, and financial institutions to determine repayment ability. Stay informed about MMP Capital and partner lending parameters, ensuring compliance with current credit policies and protocols. Collaborate with the Sales team to recommend suitable credit programs tailored to customer needs. Prepare and submit credit applications for approval, documenting credit decisions, stipulations, and declines accurately. Follow up with lenders to manage approval timelines, extensions, and necessary updates to credit applications. Support senior team members by providing detailed credit analysis and maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. Required Qualifications Basic understanding of financial statements, credit concepts, and risk assessment methodologies. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting. Ability to adhere to internal credit policies and guidelines. Supportive team player with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in credit analysis or financial services. Knowledge of TLO reports and professional license verification processes. Familiarity with credit reporting agencies and lending protocols. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
