OB/GYN Physician OB/GYN Physician Schedule: Full-Time | Clinic + Hospital Coverage Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join a dynamic women’s health team in Dothan, Alabama. This role offers a harmonious blend of outpatient clinic work, inpatient obstetric care, and gynecologic surgery. The team is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-focused healthcare in a professional environment. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive OB/GYN care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, covering prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
- Perform gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques.
- Participate in labor and delivery coverage and obstetric call rotation.
- Conduct annual exams, preventive care, and women's health screenings.
- Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of gynecologic conditions.
- Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine, pediatrics, anesthesia, and nursing teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Alabama.
- Strong clinical and surgical skills in OB/GYN practice.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
