Operations Analyst
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Operations Analyst to join their team. As an Operations Analyst, you will be part of the Wire Transfer Department supporting operational support functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach.
Location: Los Angeles, CA (3 days onsite every week)
Pay Range: $42/hr
What's the Job?
- Perform operational support duties within the Wire Transfer Department under general supervision.
- Receive and validate wire transfer requests from customers, verifying signatures and confirming details over recorded telephone lines.
- Log wire requests from customers, branches, and other departments to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Process wire transfer instructions through the Wire Transfer and SWIFT systems efficiently and accurately.
- Analyze wire information to execute payments to correspondent banks and resolve customer issues promptly.
What's Needed?
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
- Excellent communication skills for verifying and confirming wire details with customers.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues related to wire transfers.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and departmental policies related to wire transfers.
- Experience with SWIFT systems and online banking platforms is preferred.
