Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU / Float Pool (ER Focus)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as hospital float pool staff, providing nursing care across multiple units as needed within scope of practice
• Primary assignment in the ER hold area with the expectation to float throughout the facility including the Emergency Department
• Deliver direct patient care during overnight shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols, holiday scheduling requirements, and compliance standards
• Complete required orientation modules and maintain full compliance with onboarding documentation deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Ability to float throughout the facility within scope of practice
• Willingness to work assigned major holidays per contract holiday policy
• All requested time off (maximum 7 days per contract) must be finalized at time of submission — no schedule changes or RTO requests accepted post-offer or post-start
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Emergency Department or ER hold area setting
• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit acute care environment
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance and onboarding processes
