Job Description

We are seeking skilled Fitter Welders to join our team, responsible for welding components for buildings and construction areas. The role involves heavy steel welding using Flux core .045 and MIG welding techniques. You will work closely with architects, utilizing blueprints and quality tools, and receive training from the most experienced workers.

Responsibilities

• Perform Flux core .045 and MIG welding on construction components.
• Read and interpret blueprints for accurate welding tasks.
• Collaborate with architects and provide feedback to meet project specifications.
• Ensure high-quality welding standards are maintained.
• Engage in heavy steel welding activities.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in flux core and MIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• 3+ years of experience in structural steel welding.
• Experience in TIG and stainless steel fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in fitting and fabrication work.
• Previous work experience in companies like Ace Iron & Steel, UMI, Wisconsin Steel Tube, or Super Steel.
• Knowledge of maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Work Environment

Work in a smaller, clean facility with options for 1st shift (6:30am-3:00pm) or 2nd shift (2:30pm-10:30pm). Enjoy a structured and organized workplace that prioritizes safety and efficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
