Pearle Vision Maplewood is locally owned, community‐focused, and all about making people feel genuinely cared for. We’re looking for a full‐time Optician who loves helping others, enjoys learning new things, and wants to grow with a team that invests in you .

As an Optician, you’re part guide, part problem‐solver, part confidence‐booster. You’ll help patients feel comfortable, understood, and excited about seeing clearly — all while working with a team that supports each other and celebrates wins together.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome patients and help them find frames and lenses they’ll love

• Interpret prescriptions and take accurate measurements

• Explain lens options in simple, friendly language

• Team up with our doctors and front desk to keep visits smooth and stress‐free

• Help patients understand insurance and Medicaid benefits

• Assist with ordering, inventory, and merchandising

• Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA standards

What You Bring

• Optical or optician experience is great — but not required

• Customer service or sales experience is a big plus

• Basic computer skills (typing, navigating software, comfort learning new systems)

• A patient‐first mindset and great communication skills

• Comfort multitasking and staying organized

• Familiarity with EHR — or excitement to learn

• A collaborative attitude and desire to grow

• Flexibility for evenings and weekends
