Ammunition Stock Control and Accounting Specialist – Army National Guard. The role requires maintaining the back‑of‑house stock of ammunition and explosives and performing accounting procedures for all related components. You will manage inventory, use both automated and manual systems, and keep hardware and software systems up to date. Responsibilities Perform ammunition supply stock control and accounting duties using automated and manual procedures. Maintain hardware and software systems and manual records needed for stock control. Process the automated issuance, receipt, shipment, turn‑in, and maintenance transfer of ammunition. Create and manage RF‑ID tags, generate applicable reports, and input data into tracking systems. Skills You'll Learn Use data browsers for automated ammunition handling. Create RF‑ID system tags and related reports. Operate automated data processing equipment and execute individual and collective war‑drill tasks. Helpful Skills Interest in algebra, chemistry, physics, geometry, and trigonometry. Planning and organizational aptitude. Effective communication abilities. Ability to stay calm under stress. Training and Earnings Training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training and 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on‑the‑job instruction.
