Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Chico, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location. The position is based in a hospital setting and supports inpatient rehabilitation and acute care populations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California OT license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in hospital, inpatient rehabilitation, or acute care settings preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in assessment and treatment planning for adults with neurological and orthopedic diagnoses preferred.
• Ability to document in electronic medical records and coordinate interdisciplinary care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with cognitive and activities of daily living (ADL) retraining preferred.
• Certification or training in specialized modalities (e.g., therapeutic modalities, splinting) is a plus.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00–17:00.
• Workdays follow a standard daytime schedule.
• Position supports hospital patient populations including inpatient rehab and acute care.
