The Technician serves as the primary customer service point of contact for the Facilities Services Unit, answering a multi‑line phone system to assist customers with facility‑related building issues, distributing mail, processing telephone, written, and employee walk‑up service requests, and ordering supplies. The Technician is the primary coordinator of the Facilities Management Services SharePoint portal, processing easel, fundraiser, overtime lights/air, and key requests. Desirable Qualifications Experience in Facilities Management or Business Services Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams Ability to work independently and in a team environment using tact and good judgement Customer service experience with multiple customers with varying needs Experience relaying information and communicating effectively between customers, coworkers, and various business areas and following through to completion Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads Ability to review written information to determine priorities and urgency of correspondence Experience managing multiple assignments and meeting time constraints Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills EEO Statement Department of Energy and Office of Fairs and Justice.
