Payroll Specialist

To support a multi-state consulting firm, the temporary fully remote Payroll Specialist will manage bi-weekly payroll processing, enter HR actions, and respond to customer inquiries while ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. Key responsibilities Process bi-weekly payroll, including entering HR actions and managing termination paperwork Review and audit timesheets for accuracy, and research labor adjustments for missing timesheets Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and explain complex payroll information to associates Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1-5 years of payroll processing experience, preferably with Ceridian Dayforce Understanding of federal, state, and local payroll rules and regulations Intermediate spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables and V-lookups Ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities effectively
