We are seeking an accomplished Director of Franchise Development to lead the organization's franchise expansion strategy and identify, develop, and convert new hotel opportunities across key U.S. markets. About the Role We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Director of Franchise Development to lead our franchise expansion initiatives across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hotel industry and a proven track record of identifying, developing, and converting franchise opportunities with hotel owners, investors, and developers. This is a strategic opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional with a strong background in hotel franchise development, hotel development, business development, or owner relations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying, developing, and converting franchise opportunities with hotel owners, investors, developers, brokers, and hospitality partners. Experience with a recognized hotel brand or established hospitality organization is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding hotel portfolio by building strategic relationships, negotiating franchise agreements, and driving sustainable business growth. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new franchise opportunities across assigned territories in the United States. Build and maintain relationships with hotel owners, developers, investors, brokers, and management companies. Generate qualified franchise leads through networking, market research, referrals, and industry events. Lead the complete franchise development process from initial contact through agreement execution. Conduct market analysis and identify high-potential markets for brand expansion. Prepare business proposals, presentations, financial analyses, and franchise development plans. Negotiate franchise agreements in collaboration with legal and senior leadership. Partner with Operations, Brand Standards, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure successful hotel conversions and openings. Represent the company at hospitality conferences, trade shows, and franchise development events. Maintain an active pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence. Achieve franchise development and revenue targets aligned with the company's strategic growth objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in hotel franchise development, hotel sales, business development, or hotel development Prior experience with a recognized hotel brand or hospitality company is mandatory . Strong understanding of hotel franchise models, hotel operations, owner relations, and development processes. Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and close high-value franchise deals. Established network of hotel owners, developers, investors, and hospitality professionals within the United States. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate hotel development opportunities.
