Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver critical, hands-on support in the operating room by utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse. As an OR RN, you’ll take part in dynamic surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and excellent outcomes. This is a contract position with an immediate need for individuals passionate about perioperative care and high standards of clinical excellence.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time hours, variable shifts depending on surgical schedules
• Opportunity for weekday and occasional weekend assignments

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an operating room environment
• Prior exposure to perioperative care, including assessment, intraoperative, and post-anesthesia support
• Proficiency in sterile technique and surgical safety protocols
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to remain focused and calm in high-stress, fast-paced situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct assistance to surgical teams during procedures
• Instrument and supply preparation, maintenance of sterile field
• Monitoring patient vitals and status throughout surgery
• Accurate documentation of surgical activities and patient responses
• Anticipate the needs of surgical staff for improved workflow
• Ensure compliance with all hospital and safety standards
• Provide post-operative care and support patient recovery transitions
