Your Tasks

• Providing quality assurance support for space projects during the development and production phases
• Conducting product acceptance tests/audits with the customer, and preparing the necessary acceptance documentation
• Handling quality assurance-related processes (approvals, preparing non-conformance reports, etc.)
• Chairing construction deviation committees
• Assessing deviations and damage analyses, initiating and monitoring corrective and preventive actions
• Monitoring internal and external processes to ensure product quality
• Preparing and reviewing First Article Inspections (FAI)

Your Qualifications

• Technician / Master Craftsman, preferably in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or with comparable knowledge
• Several years' professional experience in quality assurance
• Experience in mechanical engineering, with specialist knowledge of mechanical machining desirable
• Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP tools)
• Proficiency in key quality management methods (e.g. 8D process, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and EN 9100
• Facilitation and teamwork skills
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented approach to work
• Proficiency in MS Office applications / SAP
• Good written and spoken English (minimum B1 level)
