Classification Title:Adjunct – Process Technology Instructor (Pool)Department:Process TechnologyPhysical Demands:Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, hearing, and talking.Job Summary/Basic Function:Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part-time basis.Academic departments will contact potential applicants when there are available openings.Job duties include, but are not limited to:Reports to the Division Chair of Industrial Process TechnologiesTeaches Process Technology classes using traditional and alternative delivery methodsCCPICollege benefits do not accrue with this part-time position.Minimum Qualifications:Associate’s Degree in Process Technology from a regionally accredited collegeMinimum of three years of industrial experienceInterest in alternative instructional delivery methodsexcellent written and oral communication skillsOther qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institutionExceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special considerationDesirable Qualifications:Three years of chemical industry experience preferredBilingual language skills preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Brazosport-College
