Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access activities, observe site conditions, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations. Support daily operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by remaining visible, providing directions when needed, and communicating professionally with personnel, visitors, and first responders. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
