TIG Welder/Fabricator - 1st Shift

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Are you a skilled TIG Welder looking for a hands-on role where no two projects are the same? Join a growing custom fabrication shop that specializes in high-end stainless steel handrail systems. This position offers the opportunity to expand your welding and fabrication skills while working on unique architectural projects from start to finish.

• Fabricate, fit, assemble, and TIG weld custom stainless steel handrail systems according to detailed blueprints and project specifications.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Measure, layout, cut, and prepare materials using tape measures and fabrication tools with a high level of precision.
• Operate a variety of metalworking equipment including saws, drill presses, punch presses, benders, brakes, grinders, and polishers.
• Produce high-quality TIG welds on stainless steel in both horizontal and vertical positions while maintaining quality standards.
• Grind, polish, and finish materials to meet customer and project requirements for appearance and functionality.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to ensure products meet specifications and company standards.

• Previous TIG welding and fabrication experience, preferably with stainless steel.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and fabrication drawings.
• Strong measuring and layout skills.
• Comfortable working in multiple departments, including welding, fabrication, assembly, and finishing.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of COLUMBIA, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
