Medical Assistant Outpatient Clinic
Location: Marina Del Rey, CA Schedule: 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM 6:00 PM Pay Rate: $31/hour

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant for an outpatient clinic in Marina Del Rey, CA. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for professionals who are passionate about patient care and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and take vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight)
- Record patient history and current medications into the electronic medical record
- Assist with room setup, exam preparations, and equipment sanitation
- Draw blood and prepare lab specimens (venipuncture required)
- Administer injections, immunizations, and oral medications as directed
- Coordinate referrals, insurance verification, and benefit plan navigation
- Support providers in delivering high-quality patient care and follow-up
Required Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program or national certification (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, CCBMA, MMCI)
- At least 2 years of MA experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office
- Proficient with blood draws/venipuncture and lab handling
- Familiarity with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
- CS-Link/Epic EMR experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years working as an MA in Internal Medicine
- Phlebotomy certification
- Experience submitting labs to Quest Diagnostics
- Understanding of medical terminology
