In the role of Labor & Delivery Nurse, you will be essential in delivering outstanding care to mothers and their infants. Your skills in labor, delivery, and postpartum support will be crucial in safeguarding the well-being of both mother and baby.
- Deliver comprehensive support to mothers throughout labor and delivery
- Assist in stabilizing newborns and providing postpartum care
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes
- Maintain precise and thorough patient documentation
- Keep up-to-date with certifications and ongoing education requirements
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in a relevant setting
- Valid Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP certification or the ability to obtain it within six months
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification to be acquired within six months of employment
- STABLE certification is preferred
- ACLS certification is preferred
