Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

For more information, visit As a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Countryside, IL. Schedule: * Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Tue 10:00 am - 7:00 pm * Will be required to work one Sat approx. every 6 weeks 6:30 am - 12:00 pm What You'll Do * Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice * Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders * Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures * Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records * Performs other duties as assigned What You'll Bring * Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school * Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required * Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required * At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
