RN - Interventional Radiology

Job Title

Pay Rate: $68.00 - $77.00 per hour

Summary:

Shift: 9:00A - 7:00P

Location: Interventional Radiology Unit - *** West

Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care by incorporating the tenets of the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care.

Assess and evaluate patient care needs and apply critical thinking skills in patient care management.

Integrate relevant assessment and intervention skills in the delivery of nursing care.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

Prioritize all aspects of patient care including teaching, rounding, coaching, and planning "after hospital care."

Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care, transition of care, promotion of health, and prevention of disease.

Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, family, and all members of the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team.

Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing.

Engage in quality and safety practices, identifying and escalating barriers and opportunities for improvement.

Perform charge nurse duties as assigned.

Coordinate with the Clinical Coordinator to ensure supplies are appropriately utilized and inventory is sufficient for patient care.

Requirements:

MUST HAVE INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY EXPERIENCE, 2 YEARS MINIMUM

MUST HAVE BSN

NYS RN License

BLS

Preferred Skills:

EPIC experience highly preferred

1 year travel experience for Travel positions, not required for Per Diem positions
