Housekeeping Tech - Night Shift

Responsibilities Reporting to the Department Manager, Housekeeping is responsible for providing a clean and safe environment throughout the plant. Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, GMPs and wear required PPE while in the warehouse or production areas. Ensure compliance with food quality and food safety standards. Perform cleaning duties – sanitizing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pick-up/disposal, floor scrubbing, and restrooms across all plant areas including outside of the building. Dispose of all office recycling. Replenish paper products in restrooms and breakrooms. Understand various cleaning agents and their appropriate uses. Maintain and refresh all breakrooms after scheduled breaks, lunches and special events – cleaning tables, microwaves, cabinets, door handles, etc. Track cleaning inventory in supply cabinets and notify management when items need to be ordered or restocked. Required Skills and Competencies Experience in Food/ Beverage Manufacturing preferred. Ability to read and understand safety data sheets (SDS). Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in an organized manner. Comfortable working independently and showing initiative. Knowledge of standard cleaning protocols and practices. Efficient in managing time to complete cleaning tasks within scheduled times. Effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Working Conditions Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evenings, overnight, and holidays may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed. Work Environment: Operating in a fast‑paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Noise levels require hearing protection and temperatures can get very hot and/or relatively cold. The environment is structured and supervised. Travel Requirements Rarely. Physical Requirements Stand or sit – rarely. Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl – rarely. Lifting 50 lbs.
