Location: Vienna, VA | Full-Time | Hybrid

Professional Summary

Seeking an experienced Executive Director to oversee administrative operations, financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning within a professional services environment. This role will lead administrative functions, collaborate with senior leadership, and ensure efficient financial and operational performance across departments.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Oversee administrative departments, including accounting, HR, IT, facilities, and library services .
\n
• Manage financial reporting, annual budgets, expense monitoring, and capital planning .
\n
• Prepare and interpret management reports and identify factors affecting revenue.
\n
• Coordinate executive and partnership meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up on decisions.
\n
• Support strategic planning, policy development, internal controls, and operational improvements .
\n
• Collaborate with department managers and communicate significant financial and administrative matters to leadership.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required ; graduate degree preferred.
\n
• 5–7 years of accounting and financial reporting experience .
\n
• Experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting .
\n
• CPA firm experience preferred.
\n
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel , reporting tools, and law firm management software.
\n
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills .
\n
• Knowledge of accounting and billing procedures, financial systems, and internal controls.
\n
• Ability to work normal business hours and additional hours as needed.
\n
