Job Opportunity – Travel Emergency Department RN – Virginia

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Reston, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Multiple shifts available (Day, Mid, and Night shifts). Day shift includes 1 Charge RN, 1 Triage RN, 4 RNs, and 1 Paramedic. Mid shift includes 1 Charge RN, 1 Triage RN, 6-7 RNs, and 2 Paramedics. Night shift includes 1 Charge RN, 1 Triage RN, 4 RNs, and 1 Paramedic. Patient ratio is 1:4.

• Busy emergency department with 34-44k patient visits annually
• Collaborative team environment with 78 staff members across all shifts
• Meditech EMR system utilized throughout the department
• Diverse case mix including stroke protocol, sepsis protocol, trauma protocol, triage, IV initiation, and moderate sedation
• Equipment includes EKG, Lucas, cardiac monitors, Dynamap, POC, and IStat
• Staff recognition program celebrating excellence in emergency services

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting required
• Active Compact RN License required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and CEN certifications preferred
