Job Details Department: 34102 High Point Medical Center - Nursing Float Pool Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Status: Full time Hours per week: 36 Schedule Details: 3 12‑hour shifts weekly (7am‑7pm) with weekend rotation Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour Where You Will Work The float staff provide flexible, skilled nursing care across multiple units (primarily acute care and intermediate level care) within High Point Medical Center, stepping in to support staffing needs and maintain safe patient care. They adapt quickly to different patient populations, workflows, and clinical environments while upholding hospital standards and best practices. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state of North Carolina Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required NIHSS required 2 years of RN experience preferred Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, and effective communication to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
