Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the overall accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the Company's financial statements and accounting operations. This role leads the accounting function, ensures strong internal controls, and provides oversight of the month-end close process. The Accounting Manager works closely with the Director of Finance to support financial reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement of accounting processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities owning the month-end and year-end close process, reviewing and approving journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled, overseeing tax filing with external partners, administering local insurances, handling complex accounting areas, overseeing accounts receivable/payable and cash application, maintaining policies and internal controls, coordinating external audits, monitoring financial activity for risks, driving process improvements, and serving as primary contact for accounting issues. Other duties may include supporting general office operations. Qualifications 7+ years of progressive accounting experience GAAP knowledge month-end close experience ERP experience (NetSuite preferred) strong internal controls ability to work independentlyproblem-solving cross-department collaboration CPA/CMA preferred Education / Experience Bachelor's degree and 7+ years related experience or equivalent. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience leading or supervising accounting function, Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements, Experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation, Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), Strong understanding of internal controls and accounting processes, Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting functions, CPA or CMA certification preferred Physical Demands describe typical conditions, reasoning and communication skills required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Oy Medix Biochemica Ab
