About the Team : The Director of Project Management is a critical position supporting senior leadership, enabling leaders to execute strategic work while ensuring operational rigor. This role is part of the Financial Services Technology Top of House Command Center and is responsible for driving horizontal initiatives that support approximately 1,500 associates across the division. The individual will lead the FS Tech annual business rhythm (annual strategic planning, monthly and quarterly business reviews, etc.), divisional governance processes, strategic initiatives, labor strategy, campus programs, learning and development, associate engagement, and communications. Candidates should have a passion for technology, strong strategic command, an engaging executive presence, exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, expertise in relationship‑building, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once. Candidates should be excited about improving the daily lives and development of our engineers and helping leaders advance our strategy at scale. Specific responsibilities related to project management include: Serve as a strategic thought partner for FS Tech leadership, helping guide operations and management of the organization. Lead the division’s Developer Enablement program. Act as a central point of contact between FS Tech leadership, Enterprise Tech leadership, and other key partners to ensure alignment across the organization. Prioritize key areas (goals, labor strategy, budget, associate engagement, culture, operational excellence, etc.) to aid strategic planning, uncover critical efficiencies, and prevent duplication of effort. Understand the organization’s strategy and vision, lead the leadership team to drive and track goals and priorities, and solve issues through escalation. Assist the leadership team with strategic planning, including financial, workplace, and resource planning in collaboration with key partners. Create and manage effective, scalable processes to manage operating rhythms, inject new operational processes, and drive executional discipline and excellence. Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent program management, quickly putting structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment. Drive all phases of project management, from feasibility and definition to planning, prioritization, implementation, and close‑out of projects. Partner cross‑functionally with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to drive project delivery. Work with cross‑functional teams and influence others to work toward a common goal, regardless of resource and time constraints. General Responsibilities: Build a team strategy and effectively develop and lead a team of associates toward top performance. Understand financial systems and technology processes. Operate strategically and tactically in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment. Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously; prioritize based on impact and make difficult trade‑offs to meet deadlines. Communicate effectively to create clarity among diverse stakeholder groups. Establish metrics and use data to measure operational efficiency, team health, and partnership effectiveness. Ask tough questions and challenge the status quo. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. At least 5 years of experience in Project Management. At least 4 years of experience in digital product management, tech consulting, or strategy. At least 3 years of people‑management experience. At least 3 years of experience managing executive‑level stakeholders across different business functions. At least 3 years of experience working with engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or Master’s degree. 5+ years of people‑management experience. 5+ years of experience in strategy development. 3+ years of experience in finance or budgeting. 3+ years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence. Salary : Plano, TX – $187,300 – $213,700 (Director, Project Management). This role may also earn performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and or long‑term incentives.
