Location: Lynbrook, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM  (Hours may vary based on business needs)
Pay: Up to $23.00 per hour

Position Overview

A well-established commercial mechanical and construction services company is seeking a dependable  Warehouse Driver to join its logistics team in Lynbrook, NY. This role is responsible for safely transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites throughout New York City's five boroughs while supporting daily warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials, equipment, and supplies to commercial job sites throughout NYC.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring materials are properly secured for transport.
• Pick up and deliver important company documents as needed.
• Read work orders, shipping documents, and requisitions to accurately prepare deliveries.
• Receive, distribute, and record inventory using company computer systems.
• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management.
• Participate in physical inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
• Perform additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with New York City's five boroughs and surrounding areas.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to work occasional overtime when needed.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing schedules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety procedures, and operating instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift throughout the workday.
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds .
• Occasionally lift or move materials weighing 100+ pounds with assistance when appropriate.
• Ability to safely perform physical work in both warehouse and outdoor job site environments.
