If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient service and have the necessary experience, this position provides a rewarding career path in a healthcare setting.Responsibilities– Draw quality blood samples from patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established procedures – Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring proper labeling and documentation – Verify patient demographic information and obtain signatures post-venipuncture to confirm specimen labeling accuracy – Demonstrate safe and professional conduct in a fast-paced environment – Maintain accurate records and documentation for all specimen collection activities – Communicate procedures clearly to patients, building trust and ensuring patient comfort – Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and confidentiality standards – Perform or assist with specimen processing and related clinical duties as directed by supervision – Support a positive, professional environment, promoting organizational values and patient care excellence – Cover multiple locations and adapt to scheduling needs, including weekends, holidays, and overtime when requiredRequired Skills– Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections – Ability to perform venipuncture and capillary collections accurately and safely – Excellent communication and customer service abilities – Attention to detail and accuracy in specimen labeling and documentation – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision – Organizational skills to manage high-volume specimen collection – Reliable transportation and dependable attendance recordAdditional Skills & Requirements– High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred – Phlebotomy certification preferred, especially in California, Nevada, and Washington – Minimum of three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections – Experience in a patient service center environment is preferred – Keyboard and data entry skills for recordkeeping and documentation – Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime – Must have reliable transportation to multiple worksites within the region – Ability to pass background checks and provide necessary immunization proof (HBV, MMR, Tdap, TB, etc.) – Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume settingElevate your career by joining a committed team that values accuracy, confidentiality, and patient-centric care.
