Power BI Developer

Salary: $71,500 - 99,500 per year Requirements:
- 7–10 years of software development experience, particularly with PowerBuilder
- Strong PowerBuilder expertise
- Proficiency in SQL and database management
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
- Understanding of application architecture and design patterns
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Preferred: experience with Java, C#, or .NET; familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; knowledge of cloud platforms, Git or other version control systems, and DevOps practices and tools
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using PowerBuilder
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and turn them into technical specifications
- Review code and uphold software development best practices
- Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to improve performance and user experience
- Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment
- Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures
- Keep current with industry developments and technologies related to PowerBuilder and software development
