Job DescriptionDirectly reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, this position is responsible for sourcing talented individuals to join the leading HVAC contractor on the West Coast. This position will apply their experience and knowledge in delivering best in class sourcing and talent acquisition practices to find highly skilled and diversified team members to drive continued growth for ACCO Engineered Systems.Supervises: N/AEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSuccessfully manage full life cycle recruiting for a portfolio of requisitions in the assigned region(s).Build solid pipelines and prospect passive talent utilizing creative sourcing methods and fostering long-term relationships with candidatesProvide expert guidance on the recruiting process for filling positions quickly with qualified and motivated candidatesPartner with hiring managers to build and enhance recruiting strategiesNetwork with industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees to find the best talentDevelop and track recruiting and hiring process/metrics so that the processes are transparent and measurableRecommend best practices to expedite the time to fill for qualified candidatesProvide training on ATS and interviewing techniques to ensure compliance and world class applicant experienceWork with external recruiting firms, recruiting job sites, social media, and career fairs to ensure cost effective and optimal sourcing tools to find great candidatesResearch and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruitingManage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and update the candidates' profiles as neededProvide innovative Marketing approaches that will attract talentOther duties as assigned by management.Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of in-house recruiting experience is required for this roleSignificant experience with passive recruiting techniques especially in technical sales and engineering rolesHave an inner drive and strong commitment to excel in the pursuit of business goalsHave a desire for seeking out new experiences, knowledge and candid feedback and an openness to learning and changeAbility to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilitiesDemonstrate a knack for authentically using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with peopleSkilled at using data and analytics to develop insights and drive decisions.Able to understand and interpret data-based metrics to market the effectiveness of recruiting effortsDemonstrated exceptional communication and coaching skills (verbal, written and presentation) at all levels (IC to Exec)General knowledge of various employment laws and practicesPassion for exceeding internal customer expectations through world class deliveryAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and resolve problems in a timely mannerKnowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and ability to streamline processes whenever possibleMaintain confidentiality of candidate and organizational informationExcellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environmentApproximately 15% travel to other regional offices as neededAdditional Skills/Abilities Preferred, but Not Required:BS degree in a job-related concentration (e.g., HR Management, O/D, Business)Prior HR experience within the construction or contracting industriesACCO Competencies:Proactivity / Initiative: Recognizes what needs to be done and accomplishes it in a manner appropriate for one's level/position and with minimal supervision.Perseverance: Shows the wherewithal to fight for difficult goals despite challenges and to bounce back from adversity.Insight: The ability to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities.Engagement: Shows a knack for using emotion and logic to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people.Teamwork: The ability to effectively work toward common goals with others by supporting, encouraging, and sharing information in an authentic and approachable manner.Big Picture: Understands and contributes to organizations' short- and long-term business strategy.
