Overview The Standard Missile portfolio is seeking a Senior Manager, Material Program Manager (MPM) to support Production Assurance efforts within the Naval Standard Missile Systems Production (NSMS) area located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. The role ensures the future success of NSMS production programs through proposal support, integration of new assemblies & designs, execution of lifetime buys, and investment in the supply base to grow or maintain production capacity. Responsibilities Collaborate with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams, Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to develop and execute Material Strategies that support Customer requirements and Program objectives. Lead by influence in a matrixed organization; brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints, risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans. Provide customer proposal support by generating Supplier Request for Proposals/Quotes (RFPs/RFQs) and labor basis of estimates (BOEs). Support supplier negotiations and PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives. Manage financial metrics (EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.) – may act as Control Account Manager. Own the supplier management process, including Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance metrics, international issues, make/buy strategy, Collaborative Agreement process, and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc. Lead, develop and drive favorable performance for a small team of 1–2 individual contributors. Resolve issues and conflicts within the organization, between organizations and with suppliers. Manage timely and compliant quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs), including risk & opportunity management. Support MRP scheduling and Master Data requests. Travel domestically or internationally as required (expected Qualifications A University Degree, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant proposal and MPM experience; or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience. Experience leading cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Microsoft Office skillset. Experience with Supply Chain Planning tools (e.g., SAP/PRISM, Kinaxis, MFT, ROMS). Experience with proposals or material estimating. MPM Level 4 (or higher) Certification. EVMS Certification. Salaries & Benefits Salary range: 132,400USD – 251,600USD.
