Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | 36 Hours per Week | 12-Hour Variable Evening/Night Shifts (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting at a Level II Trauma facility
• Assess, monitor, and respond to a wide range of emergent and non-emergent patient conditions
• Perform and interpret 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia assessments
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit protocols, dress code requirements (Navy Blue Scrubs), and facility policies

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana or a Compact State
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in Epic EMR within the last year
• Must successfully pass a 12-lead EKG and Dysrhythmia exam prior to placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level II Trauma environment
• Pediatric emergency nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, work resiliently in high-pressure environments, and collaborate effectively with care teams
