Job SummaryProvides spiritual counseling services that support the patient's ability to achieve the goals outlined in the Plan of Care. Spiritual care is delivered in a manner that respects and aligns with the patient's spiritual beliefs, religious preferences, cultural background, customs, and ethnicity. Provides these services under the direction of the physician and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, ensuring all care is delivered in accordance with the Agency's established policies, procedures, and standards of practice. This pivotal role upholds our core values of Character, Experience, and Trust, emphasizing both confidentiality and compassionate care.Desired Skills & QualificationsBachelor 's degree in counseling, theology, divinity, or related fieldMinimum of 2 years of related experience preferred.Master of DivinityExperience with Death and Dying Understanding of grief response & experience with counseling individuals or groups regarding lossKnowledge and commitment to Hospice philosophyValid AZ Drivers License, clean driving record, and reliable vehicleProof of current auto insuranceEffective verbal & written communication & time management skillsValid AZ Fingerprint Clearance CardCurrent CPR Certification & Proof of Negative TB TestWe celebrate diversity, are committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all employees and have a Zero Tolerance policy for workplace discrimination.
