Product Designer

The company is seeking a Design System Product Designer to create, maintain, and scale the foundational building blocks that power the entire customer experience. This role defines the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the design system while partnering closely with engineering to ensure adoption and implementation quality. What the role owns: Creating, maintaining, and scaling component libraries, design tokens, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards Defining and owning the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the design system Partnering closely with engineering to ensure system adoption, alignment, and implementation quality Developing workflows that improve designer-developer collaboration, including Figma libraries, documentation, and quality checks Shaping internal best practices for design documentation, guidelines, and cross-team collaboration Constantly raising the bar for design craft and execution across the organization What the Candidate Brings Required experience and skills: 4+ years of experience in product design Deep expertise in Figma, including component libraries, tokens, variants, and systematic file organization A commitment to constantly learning and adapting to the rapid changes AI brings to user interface and user experience design A proclivity for adopting and intelligently experimenting with AI tools in the design workflow Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate system rationale and implementation guidance Experience operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and high expectations for craft A portfolio that demonstrates how the candidate has shaped scalable design patterns, systematized complex UI challenges, and delivered cohesive experiences Who Thrives Here The company is a strong fit for someone who: Has a "do what it takes" attitude – willing to dive into problems and solve them independently, without anyone to delegate to Would describe themselves as relentlessly resourceful Has a strong internal sense of urgency and a bias toward doing things today rather than tomorrow Has experience working in a startup environment (preferred but not required) Is genuinely excited about the adventure of building a company Competitive base salary: Up to $280,000 + Equity is awarded on top of base salary.
