About This Role The RN – Special Procedures at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital provides exceptional care to patients undergoing various procedures. Highlights Location: Vero Beach, FL Facility: Indian River Hospital Schedule: Part-time, Day shift What You’ll Do Provide direct nursing care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions. Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned outcomes. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs. Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues. Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required. Experience: One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required. Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
